The food was a highlight, breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all spectacular, and the bar had loads of options. The staff made us feel very welcome. It’s a cozy, hospitable hotel with well-kept, contemporary rooms and great amenities, including a sauna, pool, jacuzzi, and a room with table football.

The staff were professional, friendly, and full of useful information, and I was glad I tried the breakfast. My room was very comfortable and felt luxurious, with an unbeatable view of the mountain ridge glowing in the evening. The drive from Brixen up to Afers felt like something from a movie, and the setting may be the most scenic place I’ve ever stayed. Pool and wellness center hours were a little limited, my only small complaint, but it barely affected the stay. I’d recommend it for a quiet mountain break around Brixen. The complimentary chairlift ticket is worth using to get up to the Plose mountain ski/mountain biking area, where the views are even better.

We really enjoyed the spa and the breathtaking scenery. The staff were lovely, and both the location and facilities made our stay at Hotel Vista very worthwhile.

The rooms were clean, the view was amazing, and the staff were friendly. One thing to check: if you order dinner as an extra instead of taking the full menu, you could end up paying more than the full-menu price. Look over the receipt. That pricing issue is the reason I held back the last star.
