Hotel Ristorante Solari

The staff were so kind and ready to help with any request. I felt at home even though I was away, thanks to their warm, attentive hospitality. My room was spacious, clean and had everything I needed. The hotel is also well placed for the main tourist sights. A wonderful stay, highly recommended!

Maria Luisa, her husband and their daughter Ivana were very kind and helpful. The hotel still has its original look, but it's kept in good shape, and the room amenities were impeccable. Its location makes it easy to explore all of Costa Degli Dei, from Pizzo Calabro to Capo Vaticano. Bars and supermarkets are only steps away, and the value for money is excellent. Highly recommended.

I hope the owner gives this hotel a healthy new look soon. As a Calabrian, I feel sorry for visitors from other regions who come across a place in this condition. I've often wondered how structures can still be so run-down in 2024. Luckily my family and I stayed just one night. The room was spacious and reasonably clean, despite the lack of hospitality, but the mattresses were incredibly uncomfortable. The bathroom was the worst part 🙈. The faucets were over 40 years old, and the fixtures didn't work properly, from the shower and sink to the toilet. Breakfast was another letdown: meager, with no imagination in the selection of local sweets or products.

It was a nightmare night. We slept, or really didn't sleep, on what felt like wooden planks. The blankets were extremely dirty, and the fixtures were terrible, even though the bathroom itself was spacious. They also charged a €2.50 tourist tax, as if we were in Rome! This is a run-down hotel. I recommend closing it.
