We were welcomed by Nina right on time, and immediately felt at home. The London Suite is compact, but laid out so well that it has everything you could need. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged, making the stay comfortable and convenient. Breakfast was a real highlight, a generous all-you-can-eat buffet. Wow, wow, wow! The location is right in the heart of Brindisi, with restaurants and bars with live music, charming streets, and local culture all within a 5-minute walk. The train station and bus depot are close too, which made getting around easy. From our room we could see a sweet little church, and its bells gave our mornings a special charm. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend Aleksandr B&B to anyone visiting Brindisi.

The staff and owner are attentive to guests, ready to help and share any information you need. Breakfast is high quality. The apartment is clean, spacious, and cosy, with a fully equipped kitchen. It’s in the historic center, a 5 minute walk from the train station and a 10 minute walk to the shore. I can and will recommend it to everyone.

It’s such a shame, because the rooms are lovely, clean, and modern, and the welcome and service are excellent. But the lack of soundproofing really lets the place down. You can hear neighbors talking and even yawning, and spend all night listening to selfish people on noisy motos and mopeds, the curse of Italian cities. Don’t expect to sleep. Italian business owners should start pressuring the government to ban these awful vehicles from their beautiful cities and insist on electric ones.
