The staff were lovely, and the place made a great base for exploring Merano. It had the usual Hapimag standards.
Getting around was easy: most places were walkable, the free bus stopped outside the apartments, and parking was simple and convenient since we had a car. There were quite a few roadworks nearby, though. I also wish someone had reminded me to order food each day, including from the dinner offers. At Therme, I didn't realize the sauna was clothing-free, so I wouldn't have bought the expensive ticket if I'd known. I understand that's normal for Germanic and Baltic visitors, and it was my mistake for forgetting.
The setting is stunning, and the garden and pool area felt idyllic. We also liked being able to order food from a local restaurant through Hapimag. The rooms have no air conditioning, though, and in the summer heat wave it was very warm inside. We could sleep only after getting hold of the couple of fans they had available. Construction blocked the entrance and exit, and staff didn't seem to know about it or warn guests who might need to leave then. The front office was closed much of the time too. Still, it was a great trip.
The apartments felt more like hotel rooms with a kitchen, and the staff were friendly and helpful. My main suggestion is to put a fan in each room for hot summer days, since there's no air conditioning. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay.
