Lovely apartment and a very friendly host, who also drove us to the airport. Getting there from the train station is easiest if you leave through the front, take the subway under the tracks, and come out at the back. From there it’s about two minutes. The apartment is down a little alley beside the big white house at the front, which is also No. 18, but that isn’t the place. Go down the side alley and turn right, and it’s just on your left. Quiet spot.

The flat is spacious, with a lovely little garden for having coffee, and there’s a gated private parking area. It’s close to both the train station and Brindisi’s old town, but you can’t hear the trains. The host family were very kind and lovely.

Fausto was so helpful, even offering to take us to Torre Guaceto, 18 km away, so we wouldn’t miss visiting the natural oasis. Public transport worked well for getting there, and then Mr. Fausto drove us to the airport at 4:30 AM. When we arrived, we found what we needed for coffee and breakfast the next morning, though breakfast wasn’t included. We could also leave our suitcase there before check-in. The studio is fully equipped and right by the station, yet very quiet. Its well-lit, independent entrance means you can come and go freely, including by car. With the station nearby, it was easy to visit Ostuni, Lecce, and Brindisi’s beaches by bus.

We had a private, secure parking spot and were welcomed with great hospitality. The apartment has its own entrance and a fully equipped kitchen. It’s in the center but still tucked away. Fantastic place, highly recommend.
