Imperial

Breakfast was good, with plenty of fruit and vegetables alongside the usual cooked options, toast and cereal. We only stayed a short time and ate dinner out. The room, food, pool and location were all excellent, and the hotel and staff were so accommodating. Thanks for making our Lake Garda holiday memorable. We had an absolutely fantastic stay!

We stayed six nights recently. The hotel is clean and well maintained, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms had what you need, though the design and furnishings were basic. Breakfast was excellent. We ate out, so I can’t comment on the other meals. The location’s great, about a five-minute walk to Garda centre, with lots of restaurants and easy access to the ferry terminal. Highly recommend.

The location was great, a little away from the bustle but only five minutes from the lovely lakeside and the ferry and bus links. I’d definitely stay again. I hesitated to book because the promotional photos made the hotel look sterile and without much character, but I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The gardens around the pool are beautiful, and the friendly multilingual staff give the hotel a personal feel. I wish I’d learned more Italian to return the kindness! Our room was fairly small, with a large balcony, a great bathroom and working air conditioning. Breakfast and dinner were both good. Dinner choices changed daily and tasted freshly home cooked. We booked half board through Tui and didn’t realize there’d be a surcharge to eat outside, which was much nicer than the dining room. We paid £30 for four days, including breakfast and dinner. Next time I’d consider booking direct so that this is included, along with the choice of a pool-view room. We also had toasties and drinks by the pool a few times. They were reasonably priced and brought right to our sunbed or table.

We felt welcome from the day we arrived until we left, and every staff member was friendly. The room was cleaned daily to a very high standard. Breakfast offered plenty of choice, and the restaurant had a good range for different dietary needs. The hotel is conveniently close to town and the bus station. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay at the Imperial again.
