B&B Maria Vittoria and Apartments

The harbor view and a nice breeze from either of the two balconies were a real treat, and the apartment was cozy and chic, even if not fancy. We stayed at Le Vernole for a few days in the first week of October while my husband was working, and it was a relief to move on from a terrible hotel to Maria Vittoria. It felt like living in Italy, and we didn’t find it too noisy, though earplugs are provided if needed. Shops, a supermarket, pharmacy, cafes, and restaurants are all walkable. The area isn’t very touristy, which we liked, but that also means there aren’t many souvenir or gift shops. The train station is about a 10-minute walk; we went to Lecce by train, around 30 minutes and about 3.5 euros each, for most of our shopping. The airport is roughly 20 minutes away. The food was delicious. There isn’t a huge amount to do nearby, but it’s a hidden gem that gives you a taste of living in a small Italian city, and it’s a place we should all visit.

We only managed breakfast one morning, but it was delicious, and the host was caring and lovely to talk to. The whole place was clean and comfortable, in an attractive building that felt safe and secure. Our room had plenty of space, and the beds were very comfortable. There are coffee shops right outside and some really nice clothes shops on the same road. We had a lovely stay in June 2020 and would definitely return to Brindisi. Highly recommended, and Betty Cafe Ristorante on the seafront was great too. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The location is right in the heart of Brindisi, close to everything, and the units are accessible for people with disabilities. The whole place has recently been renovated, with comfortable, up-to-date furnishings. Alice, our hostess, was delightful and always helpful and accommodating. This B&B is wonderful. Why stay anywhere else?

The guest coffee area was a delight, and the harbor, local restaurants, and bars are all close by. The rooms are beautiful, and guiseppe and his wife made us feel incredibly welcome as hosts. This B&B is awesome, with a fabulous location. Bellamissimo, in a word.
