I only went to the restaurant at Hotel Post for lunch and didn’t use the hotel services. It was a disappointing experience. The waiter seemed irritated from the start, visibly annoyed and uninterested in doing his job. Even though 4-5 regular tables were free and suitable for lunch, he refused to seat us there and instead offered a high table with high chairs, more suited to a quick drink or aperitif than a proper meal. It felt lazy, unprofessional and disrespectful to customers. When tables are available, guests shouldn’t be pushed into uncomfortable seating just because it’s more convenient for the staff. That’s not the level of service I’d expect.

The central location made getting around easy, and parking and storage were really convenient. My family and I had a lovely stay at Hotel Post. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the service was excellent. We’d happily recommend it and hope to come back.

The area was quiet and the view was nice, with restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The rooms were good value, and there is parking, though you have to pay for it.

Please be careful with this hotel. I made a non-refundable booking and paid, then received a phishing link from the hotel. I had to block my card and deal with a lot of trouble with my bank. When I raised a complaint through booking.com, the hotel staff gave their staff false information about what happened. After I objected to the phishing link, they also cancelled my fully prepaid booking without refunding any of the money.

The staff were lovely, and the hotel itself was wonderful. We also really liked the restaurant and breakfast.
