Hotel Rudolf

The rooms and facilities work well for business, calls, or workshops, and the hotel shuttle gets you to the Kronplatz 1/2/2000 cable cars with almost no wait. The hotel itself feels personal and welcoming because it isn’t too large. There’s great food and a varied weekly program with events, themed buffets, including the Aperitif buffet in the photos, and performances. Definitely a place to recommend in Bruneck/Reischach.

The daily outings were easy and well organised, with an experienced guide taking guests to places like Lake Braies for breakfast, the Three Peaks for a hike, or on an e-bike tour. I stayed four nights and had a great time. Full board meant a different menu every day, and the food was delicious and healthy, with vegetarian choices always available. Michele and Kurt were a huge help when I arrived with a punctured tyre. They handled things with the car rental and insurance companies while I enjoyed my stay, saving me what could have been hours of stress. The owner also makes a point of greeting guests at dinner each evening. When we left, she gave each of us a jar of homemade jam, a thoughtful touch. It’s family owned, and the warmth comes through in the way the staff work together and treat guests like family. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the hotel felt quiet and restful. There are six saunas, indoor and outdoor pools, and indoor and outdoor jacuzzis. For a four-star hotel, it felt like a special stay. I’d recommend Hotel Rudolf to anyone visiting the Dolomites.

We’ve just come back from a six-day family holiday at Rudolf, with two other families along too. It was our first visit, and the service made us very happy. We can see why so many people we met there return year after year. We’ll definitely be back. Excellent place.

The staff, food, and hotel were all exceptional. They were extremely accommodating with my child’s coeliac needs. I’d go back in a heartbeat.
