While we were packing our gear in the garage, a staff member came after us and claimed we had taken the pool passes. We were also charged €10 per charge to plug in our hybrid overnight using a regular garage socket. The most expensive commercial fast chargers would have cost only a few euros. It felt greedy and was no way to treat guests. We won’t return. There are plenty of nicer places nearby with more hospitable owners.

The staff were so friendly and made sure we were well looked after. We had a truly wonderful stay, and I’m grateful to everyone who helped make it such a brilliant visit. The food was amazing too. Thank you.

The WiFi was the one letdown, very weak and constantly dropping out. Otherwise, this small hotel has everything needed for a short holiday, in a lovely spot not far from the gondola. The owner was friendly, and receptionist Lena was accommodating and always ready to help. The saunas and jacuzzis were quite OK. Everything else was super, and I’ll definitely visit several more times.

Room cleaning started far too early for me, at 8:00 am. One morning the cleaner came right into my room and accidentally woke me. The next day I returned from breakfast at 8:45 and found the cleaner inside again. Both times left me feeling very uncomfortable. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to meet my needs. Although there was a set menu, they made lots of specific changes for me as a vegetarian. The food was simple but good, and dinner definitely left you with a full stomach. I just wish the breakfast buffet were bigger, with more choices, especially fresh fruit and cakes. The location is great in every season. In winter it’s next to Plan de Corones. In summer, Brunico, San Candido, and Bressanone aren’t far, and there are lots of activities and walking trails starting in and around Riscone. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were a good size. If you’re lucky, you may get a dreamy view of Plan de Corones from your room.
