The evenings by the fireplace were a lovely part of our stay, and the apartment had a well-equipped kitchen and all the comforts we needed. Francesca, the owner, was courteous and attentive to the details. In the beautifully furnished accommodation inside the stunning medieval village, we found a captivating setting for a romantic getaway. Borgo a Buggiano felt like a step back in time. We'd definitely recommend it and would love to return.

Our dog could enjoy the fully fenced garden, spread over three levels, with its many lemon and mandarin trees. From the breakfast terrace there was a wonderful view over Tuscany. We stayed at Residenza Buggiano Antica, a very cozy 17th-century house renovated beautifully and furnished with antiques. Castello Buggiano is surprisingly peaceful and relaxing, even though it's not far from the motorway, which you can't see from up there. The castle itself is historic and beautiful. The heating was broken at first, unfortunately, but the owners were reachable and got it fixed straight away. We had a lovely holiday, and I came away with lots of ideas for home.

A charming little haven of peace, just right for switching off and recharging. The apartments are very clean and have what you need. The bathrooms are a little dated, which is the one small drawback, but they're clean and work perfectly.
