We paid almost €300 for a night we never spent at Villa Dragoni, and weren't able to get our money back. Our credit card dispute was denied too. We had booked the Family Room with 3 beds for four of us, including two elderly relatives, one with Parkinson’s Disease and the other with heart, lung, and breathing/respiratory issues. We explained their health needs to the host and were told the room had air conditioning, which was essential on a very hot, humid summer day in June. But when we got the key and looked inside, it was dark, dank, stuffy, and hot, with no air conditioning. We felt staying there would be harmful to our relatives' health, so we left to find somewhere else. They refused our refund. We feel they lied to us and took our money, and they should be ashamed.

This 400-year-old villa has been carefully restored by a wonderful local family. The frescos in the main common area are epic. It's a gorgeous setting for a wedding or corporate event, and also a lovely place to retreat, write, or reflect.

Their merlot is wonderful, though it surprisingly doesn't taste like merlot. The villa itself is beautiful and has a good atmosphere.

The floors are made from old Venetian gondolas, and the building has been restored beautifully. It's also well located, just a short walk from the train station, restaurants, and espresso bars.
