The place is clean, and the owner is kind and helpful. It’s a good fit for a night or two. They do ask for cash, which is a shame. There’s a bakery 100 meters away with excellent pizza, handy for a quick meal.

The bedroom is on a mezzanine and has no view. Downstairs there’s a sofa, kitchen, and bathroom with shower. The shower’s small water heater only serves two people, so you have to wait for the water to heat back up. The room has been completely renovated, but there are no windows or outside views. The entrance is at street level and looks anonymous. Payment wasn’t taken from the card, they asked for cash on arrival. Breakfast was poor: biscuits, rusks, brioches, just two of the usual single-serve jam portions, half a liter of milk for two people for a three-day stay, plus juice and water in the fridge.

The studio was cozy, on the ground floor, and quite well equipped, with a full kitchen and a mezzanine bedroom. The small shower room was well kept and, most of all, clean. Still, the breakfast was very poor, just dry things like off-brand biscuits and toast, plus the usual single portions of Nutella and jam. Some teaspoons were still stained with Nutella, even though they’d been washed and set out with the other cutlery. The hand soap had been used, and the manager didn’t issue a receipt, which is a serious downside. We stayed for a weekend.

The breakfast was poor, the bed uncomfortable, and the pillows too soft. There’s air conditioning, but the room still feels stale, with almost no windows and one that isn’t much use. The mezzanine creaks and doesn’t feel safe. The stairs are narrow and badly built, and I broke my big toe.
