Free parking in the little square right outside is handy. The apartment is furnished well and has every comfort, just a short walk from the town center. There are plenty of essentials nearby, including a supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants, and shops with traditional Apulian products.
Francesco welcomed us warmly and was very helpful, sharing lots of information about the city and local places to eat. The apartment also had plenty of material about nearby sights. He even came back on the evening we arrived to switch on the gas water heater, then brought us the bicycle lock box the following day. The ground-floor apartment has two rooms and a large kitchen-living room, with a real Italian feel. I liked how well equipped it was: iron, washing machine, coffee maker, kettle, everything felt like home. There was coffee, dish soap, laundry detergent, fabric softener, and the other household basics too. That meant we didn't have to buy things we'd have to leave behind because we couldn't take them home on the plane.
