We will definitely return. Hotel owner Laura notices every detail, and Chef Vlajko is a master. The vegetable soup was the best I've had in ages, and the food was excellent throughout. It was an unforgettable stay with friendly service. The hotel is near the slopes in Ponzolo and a short distance from Madonna di Camplglio. Caderzone also has a great spa center with saunas and a swimming pool.

I've never stayed in a worse hotel. The staff were so rude it felt unprofessional. Breakfast and the second course were unacceptable, and there were several problems with the room. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The breakfasts were poor, and the waiters were impolite. The owner's wife was sympathetic, but the owner was very unkind. This was the worst service I've ever had. I don't recommend it.

The rooms were very clean, and the woman running the hotel was helpful when we needed a car. She spoke with a local rental company, came with us to the location, and arranged for us to leave the car at the hotel. Prices were very good, for example coffee was 1.5 euro. There is also a cinema theater for evenings, and Caderzone Therme is just a five-minute walk away. For skiing, though, check the public transport if you're not driving. There are few options to Madonna di Campligno, and there are no ski buses in the area, only from Pinzolo, 3 km away. The location is quite remote, with no restaurants or pubs nearby. The hotel could be comfortable for older people wanting a quiet place, but we were a group of around 20 and it didn't feel ready or willing to accommodate groups. Breakfast was basic and repetitive, with no fruit or vegetables. Dinner was included for us, with three choices for two courses and dessert. The menu is in Italian, and sometimes you have to guess what you're ordering for the next evening because the staff can't really explain it. Some dinners were very good, but others were big misses, like smoked polenta or just a plate of prosciutto, or two pieces of cheese. Wi-Fi was very poor, and the walls are thin enough that you hear neighbors talking and walking. We had a heating problem that was fixed after two days. The hotel policy is rather strict, and the gentleman sometimes argued impolitely. Dinner starts at 19:30. We negotiated to eat at 20:00, but if we were late, he seemed really upset. A friend couldn't work in the lobby after 11 PM because the area closes then. The ski equipment room isn't heated, and it would've been nice to have boot dryers.
