Casa Lapis

There’s plenty of potential here, and the apartment is simple with some basic amenities. I’d be fine with it if I slept lightly and expected little, but I was cold on the last night and wasn’t sure the bedspread was clean. The first floor is noisy because it’s near a busy street, although the street itself isn’t busy. Cleaning needs more attention: I spotted what looked like mold in the shower and a plaster on the tray. The pillowcases smelled dusty, so I washed them. Two of the three pillows had no covers, the zipper on the third was stuck, and the pillows themselves smelled unpleasant and should be replaced. The washing machine looked sparkling, but there was no drying rack, just a mini hanger for four small items. And that dustpan is a killer.

The host was warm and ready to help, and the apartment was both comfortable and nice.

Cagli’s central location is excellent, and the apartments are nice, though a few little things were missing. Just ask Alessandro and it’ll all get sorted. The hosts are very friendly.

It’s right in the city center, just a few steps from the main square and theater. Very comfortable and equipped with everything, including digital terrestrial and satellite TV and internet.
