We felt at home from the start, and the owners and staff did everything they could for their guests. My husband and I had a wonderful week here during Advent in 2021. The room was cozy and comfortable, and breakfast and dinner were wonderful. Thanks as well to the chefs. We'd be happy to come back for a summer visit with our bicycles if we can. Thank you. Agnes and Edith welcomed us so warmly that the hotel felt like their home, and their care and hospitality continued throughout our wonderful week in September 2017. We came to Gais for mountain biking, and the hotel arranged everything, from bike rental to daily guided rides, often led by Agnes. We enjoyed the quiet little town and spent several days cycling to nearby towns along the many peaceful roads and dedicated bikeways. There are great options for both mountain and road biking, though we found the mountain routes challenging because of the steep terrain. Dinner was five courses every night, with excellent food and a varied salad and vegetable buffet. Breakfast also offered plenty of choice. We were very happy with our stay and wholeheartedly recommend the hotel.

Edith and Agnes are wonderful hosts, and everything was well organized and friendly. Our apartment was just right and had all we needed. Great staff, tasty food, and lovely coffee and cakes in the morning!

We stayed with our family in the apartments next door and had dinner at the hotel several times. Every meal was prepared wonderfully and was very high quality. The staff were always welcoming and friendly. We felt very comfortable and would love to return. Highly recommended!
