The Marina district is lively, so there was street noise from the bars and restaurants, and we had noisy neighbours too. The building wasn't completely quiet, which might not suit someone who's very sensitive to sound. I never felt unsafe, though, and the area felt very safe. What makes this apartment stand out is the location: the port, train station, Via Roma, Rinascente and plenty of places to eat are all close by. We stayed for two weeks and were very happy with it. It's not luxurious, but it's clean and does the job if you mainly need somewhere to sleep while you explore the city. The apartment isn't huge, but there's enough room for four people. It has a washing machine, TV, kitchen supplies, fridge and ironing board. The hosts were serious, and I'd be happy staying here for a few days or even a week or two, as long as I wasn't expecting the accommodation itself to be a holiday.
