Janna 'e Mare

The owners were friendly and pointed us toward some of the best nearby cafes and restaurants. The room was great, in a characterful building right in central Cagliari.

Luca, the property manager, was very kind and gave us useful directions and tips. We stayed over New Year’s Eve, and the room was lovely, with two little balconies looking onto the main street. The nearby bar’s breakfast deal was a good one, and its staff were courteous and friendly. The location is central and close to everything, about 10 minutes from the train station. I’d recommend it.

Maria Giovanna, the owner, was especially friendly and helpful, and the apartment was tastefully furnished. It had air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a kitchen with a fridge and stovetop, and a TV. The common areas were kept up just as well as the rooms. We enjoyed having breakfast on the lovely terrace. Janna e Mare is a charming B&B in a handy spot for walking around Cagliari’s appealing center, with its shops, restaurants, bars, and views. Our rooms were spacious, clean, and welcoming, and the stay made our time in the city feel even more special. Highly recommended.

The rooms stay remarkably quiet even though the property is on the main road, thanks to the soundproofing. They’re clean, well kept, and furnished with taste. The owner is kind and always available, and maintains a high standard throughout. I’ve stayed here for longer stretches over the past few years because of the central location. I’ll be back soon, and recommend it in any season.
