Qaral Bed and Breakfast

The host was kind and always willing to offer Cagliari tips. We stayed for four days in May 2025 and found the room clean, pleasant-smelling, and secure, with an electronic lock, a comfortable spacious bed, a mini fridge, and a coffee machine. The area was quiet at night. It’s a very central spot for seeing the city, and seems best suited to couples on a short stay of one or two nights. There’s no breakfast, which feels misleading for a place labeled a B&B. Guests also have no shared space to sit or relax, even though the host lives there and uses the common area. Parking was difficult: we walked about 30 minutes each day from where we found a spot. The street is narrow and residential, with awkward access. We could clearly hear bathroom sounds from next door, as the rooms aren’t well insulated. There’s no elevator either, and the stairs are steep, which is a hassle with luggage.

Nicola is a charming host, and the place is right in the historic heart of the city. The rooms are very clean, nicely furnished, and well equipped. I highly recommend staying here!

The bathroom was big and clean, and the flat itself is modern and tidy. It’s near a lovely place. The beds felt a little small for me.
