This beach was a favorite of mine. Our hotel in Porto Cervo suggested it, and I’m glad we went. Drive or walk there, just don’t skip it. Bring your own water, as you should at most beaches in Sardinia, especially in the heat.

It’s an amazing beach, but it was already very crowded. I can only imagine how impossible it must get in peak summer. Bring shoes for the walk from the parking area down to the beach.

One of the most beautiful beaches we saw on the island, though there were jellyfish and we got stung, so watch out. Parking is €2.5 an hour or €12.5 for the day. From the car park it’s about a 15-minute hike, and if walking over rocks isn’t comfortable for you, closed shoes are a better choice.

An extraordinary beach in Sardinia’s Gallura region, really beautiful. Watch the parking situation: the official lot fills up quickly, and people then leave cars along the main road, where parking is forbidden and can mean a €29 fine. We still thought it was worth it.
