They moved us to a different neighborhood before we even arrived, despite our booking being based on the promise of parking. There was nowhere to park, the streets and parking areas were full, and they told us to double park and sleep lightly in case someone honked, so we could run down four floors and move the car. When we said we couldn’t do that, they cancelled the reservation and never refunded us. A horrible experience.

Guistavo was friendly, and otherwise the place was really nice. But the trash can was too small and hadn’t been emptied, as the photo shows. There weren’t enough chairs either, just one for both inside and outside. The bathroom fan had to be pushed in to stay on. Finding the room felt like a side quest. The elevator worked, but it’s historic, so do you need a driver’s license for that? On Sunday morning, a gospel choir was singing in the street at 11 a.m. while I wanted to sleep. Grrrr. PS: He probably means the tourist tax where you are.

It’s a good place to stay, in a popular but nice neighborhood with plenty of spots for food, coffee, or a drink. The metro and bus station are very close, and there’s a supermarket about a block and a half away. There was a smell that eventually came from the bathroom drain in the room, which kept it from being excellent. I hope they fix it. Still, it was a good place overall.

The staff were incredibly attentive and always ready to answer questions or help. There’s a shared kitchen with basic utensils, a microwave, and a refrigerator, and I loved having a balcony where I could sit outside, have a drink, and relax. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything you need. The building is quiet and easy to access. It’s a little outside the tourist area, but metro and bus connections are very good. I recommend it 100%.

Mrs. Francesca was very kind. We stayed one night, and the room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was clean too, though a bit noisy. We didn’t have shower towels, so we bought our own.
