The location, breakfast, and service were all great. Housekeeping, though, needs work. My dirty cup was left on the table from the day before, and a blue mark that looked like someone else’s toothpaste was on the window when I checked in and stayed there for all three nights. There were also so many bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and other products that I wondered whether any previous guest had used them. I doubt the hotel throws out all those bottles after each guest, so perhaps they were left for the next person. I don’t know how clean they are. Apart from that, it’s a great hotel.

The front desk service was a highlight. Georges looked after our bags when we arrived sleepy and disoriented, offered us coffee, and shared suggestions we appreciated. The room was brand new, and we enjoyed our stay. It’s walkable to the Vatican, though we booked a taxi one day, which the front desk arranged. In my opinion, that’s the best way to get one. The breakfast and Gin rooftop servers were wonderful and made espresso when we asked. I’d return!

After being closed for five years, the hotel has just reopened, and the beds and other things feel new. It’s perfectly placed for visiting every Rome highlight. We booked two nights and ended up extending to a week. The breakfast was unbeatable.

I loved the rooftop bar, and Andrea made me a fabulous gin creation. The service was impeccable and welcoming, with a personal touch. The hotel is close to lots of sights but sits on a quiet street. Highly recommend both the hotel and rooftop bar!

Fabio at the hotel reception was incredibly empathetic and dedicated when we ran into a problem. He went above and beyond to help us in every way, and without him we would’ve been in serious trouble. We sincerely want to thank him for his exceptional, courteous service. The world needs more professionals and human beings like him.
