That pairing of excellent French cheese and wine is still with me. What an incredible experience, I’m speechless!

We had a lovely dinner in this out-of-the-way village. There was a good range of dishes, a pleasant setting indoors or outside, and good service. We visited in June and ate there on Saturday, but it wasn’t open Friday. Outside the busy tourist season, it doesn’t open every night.

Waiting more than an hour for tiny portions that cost a lot? You’ll find that here.

We had a nice lunch, especially the great cheeses and arrosticini. The setting is amazing, naturally.

The staff were pleasant, and the food was good. The view and atmosphere are beautiful too.
