La Villetta

The only tricky part was finding the place with GPS. TomTom sent me down a side street where I couldn't continue, so I called the owners and they talked me through the route. Once there, I found a quiet spot in the city, and the rooms, though small, were well equipped and well cared for. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was generous and good quality, and it felt clear they looked after their guests. A very comfortable alternative to a hotel.

I was on a business trip and spent two nights at this pleasant little villa. The room looked out over green gardens at the back, and the quiet area and lack of distracting lights at night made it easy to rest. It had air conditioning, a TV, and WiFi, and the family kept everything clean and made guests feel welcome. Breakfast included biscuits, pastries, jams, and fruit alongside whatever the hostess asked about in the evening. I also noticed two freshly picked newspapers on the table downstairs. The owners have brochures and business cards for local dinner spots if you ask. They say booking directly with the family gets the best price. I had an excellent stay and will definitely return.

The place was clean, and there's a lovely terrace. It's a cozy hotel in a quiet spot, and the hosts are very helpful: they'll give you directions, show you the way, share a map, and recommend a restaurant. Only drawback for me was the lack of an iron.

The breakfast was very good, and the atmosphere was peaceful. Everything was spotless, and the neighborhood in Milan was super quiet. The two hosts were wonderful.
