We couldn't make use of the lovely pool, but we did become friends with the cat there. Margarita and her mother Rita were so nice and made us feel welcome. Margarita also shared lots of helpful tips.

We had lunch there and stayed for two dinners, and the food was good. Breakfast had plenty of choices, and Rita and her team were very accommodating. The rooms were neat and tidy, and the place has a rustic, rural feel while still offering the amenities you'd find in town. The pool and its deck weren't clean and could use attention. It's a place I'd recommend if you're hoping to slow down and relax. Grazie tanto Rita.

Really welcoming host, and the apartment and pool both have a great view of Etna. The facilities are good, with parking right on site. Highly recommend it.

The pool sits in a fantastic panoramic spot, but it was really dirty. There was grime and scum along the sides, enough to leave marks in it. There was also a pile of disgusting, rotting rubbish in the car park just below. Our room was a real disappointment. We were put at the back of the building, looking out at a few trees, while the front rooms have stunning views over the sea and Etna. The price was the same, which made it feel like we drew the short straw. The room was very small and completely characterless, with cheap, tasteless fixtures, fittings, soft furnishings, and an equally unpleasant bathroom. Distinctly average. The positive reviews are hard for me to understand. Maybe those guests had a better room, or haven't experienced a really good Agriturismo. There's no comparison. On this visit we stayed at four other places in the same price range, and every one was much better. If you're still planning to go, ask ahead not to be put in room 5 or 6.
