The countryside setting was just what we liked, with the smell of wood burning in the morning. Giovanni and Giuseppe were amazing, and the place itself is quaint, lovely, and quiet. We’ll definitely come back.

The countryside location was peaceful and convenient, with free parking at the cosy private Villa and a lovely, well-kept garden. It’s only 10 min from the city center, where we enjoyed walking through the historic town and trying traditional local street food. The apartment was immaculate, well furnished, and had comfortable beds and sofas. The host was so kind and helpful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!

The whole experience was awful. I first booked through Airbnb because the listing appeared to offer self-check-in. The owner, the father, was rude, and I learned check-in had to be in person, with a 50 euro fee after 10:00 PM. I canceled, though I had already paid. I later booked through Booking.com, not realizing the apartment managed by his daughter had the same owner. She seemed pleasant at first, but her conduct was even worse than her father's. I paid the first part in cash without getting a receipt, which benefited them by avoiding commission. When I asked to add four days to my stay, they insisted I pay at once in cash and kept knocking, even though they knew I work from home. I transferred the remaining amount and repeatedly asked for a receipt. They issued only a partial one, and it lacked the CIN code that has been mandatory since January 1, 2025. After that, they became openly hostile. On departure day, before the agreed time, they knocked and shouted at me to leave, making me stop working. The apartment was cold, badly heated, and had none of the basics: no breakfast, coffee, or welcome. It felt like they wanted to make money at any cost without providing proper service. I would avoid the property and its owners. Additional comment to my review: I’m sorry to have to respond again, but I find the lady’s claims unacceptable. They’re false and unfounded, and seem to come from her inability to accept a negative review that accurately describes my experience. I’ve also seen negative reviews answered with claims that the guest was never met. That’s perplexing and doesn’t help create an open, constructive discussion. I reject all allegations made against me. To protect myself and my reputation, I reserve the right to take legal action for defamation if these claims continue. I’m attaching photos to support what I wrote, especially about transparency concerning the dog and the agreed schedule. Her reaction seems to show she cannot accept negative feedback, but that doesn’t justify making false claims or attributing untrue words to me. My advice is to accept negative opinions and use them to improve the service. That’s a sign of professionalism and maturity.

Back for a second stay with the lady, because I had such a great time here the first time! Clean room, huge TV screen, kindness and professionalism. It has everything you expect from a B&B, and the value for money is excellent.
