The staff were warm and incredibly helpful. They happily shared tips about the area and helped with practical things. Their homemade limoncello, made with fruit from their own land, was delicious. The pool has an astounding view and makes a lovely spot for a sunset picnic. After a winding uphill drive, you reach a calm, idyllic place. The apartment is furnished authentically and feels simple and atmospheric. Don’t expect lots of luxury, but it has what you need to unwind. In the village below, there’s a lovely local restaurant with fantastic food and a real village feel. If you enjoy local cuisine, try the panzanella con prosciutto. A small car, preferably automatic, is highly recommended for driving up the road comfortably. We stayed in september. It’s a beautiful, peaceful place with authentic charm and a warm welcome, ideal if you want to get away from the bustle and enjoy the Italian landscape. Puck & Jochem

I had a wonderful 40th birthday here, and I’m now approaching 63. I was fortunate to meet Fiore and see their work up close. Sadly, they passed away a short time later. The drive in is not easy near the end, though some might feel that adds to the exclusive feel. I felt safe and welcome. My best regards to everyone!

What should have been a joyful wedding morning at Peralta Hotel turned deeply upsetting. After my family moved a table to prepare for the ceremony, the villa owner, Mr. Blaise, entered one of the houses we had booked without permission and shouted at our guests and family, using inappropriate language. Only women were in that villa at the time. Soon afterward, he went into another villa without being invited. My wife was there with family, getting her hair and makeup done and taking photos before the wedding. I was there too, preparing to take pictures together. The yelling and swearing interrupted the quiet morning. I can't repeat what was said because it was completely inappropriate. My brother and I went outside to talk to Mr. Blaise, while my wife went back inside. I have never seen her so humiliated or distressed. She was the bride and had felt beautiful and special, then she broke down in tears and ruined her makeup. It took me a long time to help her calm down. We had to delay the ceremony and let the guests waiting for the livestream know. We eventually resolved the conflict as a family, but the emotional damage stayed with us, even though the rest of the day went well. We had booked almost all the houses on the property, making this a significant off-season event for the owner. The property itself was beautiful, with breathtaking views. We stayed from October 14th to 18th for our wedding, which I wanted to be perfect for my wife and family. I work closely with people, and I found this behavior extremely unprofessional. We never got an apology or a receipt for the €4,000 we paid for accommodation, despite asking twice. Mr. Blaise didn't appear at checkout, and our emails after the wedding went unanswered. I hope no other couple has to go through this on what should be one of the happiest days of their lives.

The worst part of our wedding stay at Peralta Hotel was the way the villa owner, Mr. Blaise, interrupted the morning. After my family moved a table to prepare the ceremony venue, he came into a villa we had booked without permission and yelled at my guests and family, using inappropriate language. Only women were in that house then. He then entered another villa without an invitation. I was getting ready for the wedding, with my family and husband, doing my hair and makeup and preparing for photos. We were met with more screaming and swearing. I can't repeat what was said here because it was inappropriate to post. My husband and brother went out to speak to him, and I went back inside, feeling more humiliated than I ever have. I had felt beautiful and special as a bride, then I cried and ruined my makeup. It took my husband quite a while to help me calm down. We had to postpone the ceremony and tell the guests waiting for the livestream. My family eventually resolved the conflict, but it took me time to recover, and the memories will stay with us. The rest of the day was perfect, thankfully, but the damage was done. I work with people myself, and I found his behavior highly unprofessional. We stayed from October 14th to 18th for our wedding. The property and its breathtaking views were beautiful, and we had booked almost every house, which made the off-season occasion a big event for the owner too. But we never received an apology or a receipt for the €2750 we paid, despite asking twice. Mr. Blaise didn't show up at checkout the next day, and nobody answered our emails after the wedding. I hope no one else has this happen on such a special day.

Getting up the mountain can be a bit tricky if you have a larger car, since the road is narrow. You can leave your car in the parking area below, though, and the owners are happy to bring your luggage up. The place is full of charm, with beautiful scenery, and the room was clean and well equipped. The owners are really nice and helpful. Definitely worth a visit.
