Staying here was about more than having a comfortable place to sleep. We also got to sample local Italian wine and food, which made the whole experience really enjoyable.

The people here were great, and the country house itself felt like a dream. Breakfast was lovely, and there was the option to taste the wine and buy some too.

Katia and her daughter Anna made us feel at home straight away. Katia had plenty of useful suggestions for restaurants, places to see, and itineraries tailored to us. Her enthusiasm for the region really comes through. We had a wonderful weekend at Country House Il Sassone. It's in a handy spot for exploring the Conero Riviera, with beaches and charming villages only a short drive away. The property is peaceful, beautifully cared for, and very clean. Breakfast was superb, lovingly made with high-quality local products. We left feeling we'd had much more than just a place to stay. If you're hoping to relax, be looked after, and see the Conero area, this is a lovely choice. We'll definitely return. Katia, we hope to see you in MOLISE soon! Mauro and Francesca

If a quiet countryside break with a beautiful view sounds good, this place is worth considering. You can read in the garden or stretch out under a tree, and there are great restaurants, cafes, and beaches just minutes away. It's a family-run place, and Catia is a skilled wine producer. She's also cheerful, kind, and easy to chat with, and gave us lots of helpful vacation tips. Highly recommended if you'd like somewhere peaceful to recharge.

We'd definitely come back. As Ezio Greggio says, "cerrrrrrrr!" The room was spotless, and breakfast was generous. Ms. Catia was friendly and always happy to suggest places to see or eat, and we were pleased with all her recommendations. She can also arrange a tasting of wine made from grapes grown in her vineyards. The location worked perfectly for visiting the Conero area and nearby places.
