The meals were a real highlight, absolutely delicious, and the setting works well as a base for hikes or bike rides. I was a little nervous about traveling on my own, but Pietro and his family were so thoughtful and helpful that I felt at home right away. Casalicchio has a genuine feel and plenty of family history. I’d love to return.

We stopped for lunch in March rather than staying overnight or using the pool. We were the only guests, and they took care of everything we asked for. The organic olive oil, made in small batches, was so good. We’ll come back in summer to enjoy the pool and atmosphere.

The farm felt so warm and family-oriented that leaving was hard. They even arranged olive picking and a tasting of local cheese just for us, and their organic olive oil is the best. If you’re after an authentic taste of local Sicily, Agriturismo Casalicchio is a great choice.

Francesca, her nephew Pietro, and the staff were so kind and attentive. We loved the peaceful, remote countryside setting, and the evening meals were delicious. Our room was spacious, with lovely views across the hills. We also enjoyed a hike to the nearby pinewood and some time relaxing by the pool. We stayed for two nights and were very happy with our visit. Highly recommended.

We learned a lot about olive oil production on the tour with Pietro, and the oil was really nice. It’s also close to a few towns, so it’s handy for exploring. The countryside is quiet and rustic, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the dinners. The pool area was pleasant, with views of the mountains and rolling hills.
