The Royals

The service was very nice and friendly, and there was good coffee and boxed juice at breakfast. Still, I’d call this a hostel rather than a hotel, and it’s best for a short stay. Our room was nice, but the window faced a wall, so there was no daylight at all, and a terrible smell came from outside. The bathroom could have been cleaner. Breakfast was included, though to me it was more of a snack bar, with only packaged bread and pastries, plus jam and chocolate spread. I wish I could give the place a better review.

The location was okay, and the rooms were clean and spacious. The staff were really friendly.

I stayed one night in this wonderful place in a calm, quiet area. The room was clean and cozy, with its own bathroom. The rooms are inside an apartment. The apartment owner kept in touch, met me when I was wandering around trying to find the entrance, showed me in, and explained everything several times 😄. The hall and staircase had such atmosphere, like being in an old library. You could make coffee and have a roll, jam, or biscuits for breakfast, and there’s a kitchen in the apartment. I rated the location 5 because I prefer quiet to being near the sights. It doesn’t take long to get to the centre. I took the bus back from the centre, and the tram on the way there. If I can, I’d be glad to come back for a longer stay.

We picked up breakfast from the supermarket just a minute away and ate it on our balcony. The accommodation was clean and affordable, though the breakfast provided was pretty basic, with everything wrapped in foil.
