The bathroom was comfortable, and the stay was good. It’s a small place in Campoli del Taburno’s historic center, with three large rooms.

The owners were friendly and helpful, and the place is right in the town center. But once inside, things went downhill. The air conditioning shut off and froze up shortly after I switched it on. At breakfast, the toasted bread was about a month past its date. The bathroom had hair and pubic hair on the floor, as though it had been mopped without being swept first. We had to put a large towel down to avoid the mess. I know it’s a B&B, not a five-star hotel, but finding other people’s hair is unacceptable. Never again. A complete failure.
