The breakfast is generous, varied, and genuinely good, much like the person who runs the place. The rooms are furnished with care, which makes staying there pleasant. What really stands out, though, is the warm welcome, and Rosario is the clearest reflection of it. Compliments!

We spent four days in this little village in the Lucanian hills, and the B&B was fantastic, from the room to breakfast. The owner was incredibly available and courteous. It’s also well placed for getting to beautiful Matera, with lovely Puglia and Campania a couple of hours away.

We only stayed one night, but the village’s quiet atmosphere and welcoming people made it a lovely stop. Rosario was so kind, made us feel comfortable right away, and suggested a great place for dinner. He even arranged an earlier breakfast to suit our departure. The apartments are clean, well cared for, and in a great spot. I’d stay here again if I’m back in the area. It feels like home.

I ended up at Rosario’s by chance, and what a find. The B&B has every comfort and a distinctive style, with lots of memorabilia that never feels tacky. Rosario is kind and ready to help. That sort of warmth is something people in the south and in these small towns, the real heart of Italy, know how to offer. His B&B is worth a visit.
