The setting is stunning, and both apartments we stayed in were lovely. We had to split our stay because one wasn't available for the full length of our visit. The trouble was the dogs at the neighbouring attached property. They barked for ages whenever anyone passed, including every guest at the villa, day and night. Their owners didn't try to stop them. The noise ruined the peace and kept us from sleeping properly, so I wouldn't return. The neighbours were very selfish.

Our group wasn't organized well enough to book Villa Martina. Even so, the host was consistently kind and helpful, and tried to find ways to meet our needs.

We all left completely satisfied after a relaxed, family-like lunch, with quality products and excellent wines. I'd booked a vineyard tour with a winemaker and a light lunch at this agriturismo for my birthday. Mr. Franco, the owner, welcomed us and showed us his wine museum, full of antiques and family artifacts. He spoke with passion and expertise, and you could feel how much he loves his work and his land.
