Relais Villa del Borgo

The hosts were so friendly and always available when we had questions. This family-run hotel has recently been renovated, with modern, upscale rooms. It’s at the top of town with a wonderful view, yet only a short walk to the center. Breakfast was amazing, the best we had during our two-week trip. And make time to relax by the pool. We loved this historic hotel.

We were traveling with three other couples, and all of us were delighted with our stay at Villa del Borgo in Canelli. The place has just seven rooms, so each of us got special attention. Our rooms were lovely, nicely furnished, and had pleasant views. Simone’s wonderful breakfast was the highlight, and she was a gem, taking care of whatever we needed. Thank you, Patrizia, for making our stay so lovely.

The pool area and upper deck look out over spectacular views of Canelli, and the cool night air makes you want to leave the windows open. The hotel feels intimate and takes relaxation to another level. Hospitality here is beyond anywhere else, from people who really want to make your stay better and take every request seriously. You’re greeted with a big smile and warm voice that puts you at ease right away. Breakfast is a treat. Each day Simone remembers your favorites, whether it’s coffee, cappuccino, fresh pies, cookies, or the meats and eggs you choose. The taste is like butter on your tongue. Patrizia is in charge, and she, her children, and the staff are always working to make you comfortable, from drinks to cheese plates. I’m already planning my next trip.

The pool was a lovely way to cool off, and breakfast was great. Our room was spacious and clean too. Patrizia and her son made us feel very welcome. We had a wonderful stay at Villa del Borgo in Piedmont.
