Blu Hotel Laconia Village

The food was fresh and delicious, just PERFECT, and honestly the part that impressed me most. The whole hotel was carefully maintained, right down to the little details, and it felt pleasant and easy to settle in and relax. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone after a top-level stay.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in, by far. On arrival the staff were extremely rude and charged us another 600 dollars because there were two of us in a double room, saying we'd only paid for one person. The room and facilities were dirty and broken. There were no bath towels, and I had to ask several times. There isn't even an iron anywhere in the hotel. After paying the extra $600, I asked for another room key and the receptionist wanted another $70. The man at reception had no idea how to speak to customers, and I've never had such a bad experience with anyone. Breakfast was cold and disgusting. They also blasted music and microphone announcements just outside the rooms until the early hours. One star is generous. Avoid this place at all costs.

For a traditional hotel, we were really pleased with what we got for the price. It stayed clean and well looked after, and the food was good all week, even near the end of the season when that isn't always the case. There was music in the main bar each night, and the DJ has an amazing voice. Highly recommend Blu Hotel Laconia Village.

We regretted ending our Sardegna trip with two nights at Blu Laconia in Cannigione. We'd met lovely hotel staff and stayed in beautiful places elsewhere. On arrival, Elenora at reception was rude and indifferent, the worst welcome we've ever had. Our room wasn't ready, which we understood, so we asked for towels to go to the beach we'd prepaid for. The towels cost 6 euros each. That beach service turned out to be an overcrowded, dirty spot, with another indifferent staff member working as lifeguard. We went to the pool instead, but were told to buy bathing caps at reception, 4 euros each, because caps were required. Once the room was ready, we were asked for the usual city tax plus a 30 euro service fee for two nights, supposedly for pool and beach use. We'd already prepaid 40 euros for their beach service. At breakfast, we couldn't find a table because every table was reserved for the whole stay, according to the signs. I've never seen a hotel do that. Bring your own breakfast or eat elsewhere. The room was small, dirty and overpriced. We'd just stayed at a four-star resort with a sea view and a room three times the size. This place is old and shabby, with sand all over our room and mold in the bathroom. I sincerely wouldn't recommend visiting. It was an awful disaster.
