I was very pleased with the stay and felt I got more than I expected for the price, under $80 a night. The rental was inexpensive, breakfast was included, and it was a great surprise because I hadn't even known about it. You also get access to the beach below, where you can rent lounge chairs and umbrellas, or use the public beach beside it. The room was large, clean, and pretty, and the air conditioning worked well. The fridge was fine, though the shower water pressure and temperature could be a little fussy, much like elsewhere in Taormina. I thought some online reviews were unfair, since you get what you pay for. Be sure to book a superior room for an oceanfront view. The B&B entrance is on a busy street with little sidewalk, which is unusual but normal for an old Sicilian town. The rooms are above the 4th floor, while cheaper ones below don't have an ocean view. Plan your trip ahead: getting here by bus is easier than by train, and Dalmazia stop is the closest. The affordable rentals are in Giardini-Naxos, on the bus route to Taormina. If you can afford a super swanky hotel in Taormina, good for you, but please be fair in your reviews!

This was an absolute joke. The listing presents it as a beautiful oceanfront oasis, but it was nowhere near that. To get to the ocean, you have to walk out to the highway, go down two flights of stairs, then cross two more streets. The promised amenities were missing: no coffee or tea maker, Netflix streaming, toiletries, minibar, airport shuttle, spa, private beach, or security. There was a mini fridge, but it was broken and so hot it spoiled my food. The mattress felt like concrete, there was only a single sheet and no bedding, and the air conditioning was mediocre at best. Shower water kept changing temperature. On top of all that, they ignored my questions about the booking. Do not stay here.

The hosts were extremely nice, and the room was fairly cheap for what it offered. We chose a sea-view room, and it became one of my most memorable experiences in Sicily. Leave the alarm off in the morning so you can catch the sunrise, then go back to bed. Definitely recommend!

The location was great, though there was a little noise from the main street outside. Our room was really clean, and the owners and staff were friendly and professional. We arrived three hours early, and they welcomed us even though the room wasn't ready, then got it prepared even faster. The owner also carried our luggage.
