Staff are very friendly, and it's a lovely spot for a quiet, relaxing holiday. There isn't much to do, though, and we got bored. The hotel is remote, so having a car is a real advantage. The local bus runs infrequently, and you'll need transport to reach the nearest shops, bars, or restaurants. Some access to rooms is steep.

The setting in Cannigione gave us both quiet and convenient access to local attractions, with beautiful sea views. At Myo Stelle Marine, Sardegna, we felt welcome from the moment we arrived, and the staff provided warm, professional service throughout. The whole property, from lobby to pool to our room, was spotless. Housekeeping tidied our room and replenished fresh linens and toiletries every day. We had a wonderful stay from arrival to our reluctant checkout, with service and cleanliness that felt five-star. If you're looking for that kind of experience in Sardinia, Myo Stelle Marine Cannigione is a great choice.

A hire car is almost essential here. The hotel is on a hillside, the nearest shop is at least a 15-minute walk away, and there are no local restaurants or cafes, so you're stuck with the hotel restaurant, which has poor service and a very limited menu. It's also not suitable for people with mobility issues. This doesn't deserve a four-star rating.

The views are incredible, the pool was never crowded, and the service was five-star. It's an expensive place, but being 15mins from Costa Smeralda, I expected that. The staff were just as fabulous. The rooms are a little dated, though, and the bed wasn't quite the quality I wanted. Vi Spring clearly not, or maybe I just don't like the springs. Still, how long do you spend in your room?
