I wouldn’t recommend this B&B. Not worth saying more, so please avoid it.

We stayed in the orange apartment and had a little seating nook just outside the door. It was easy to get a drink from the restaurant across the street or sit outside and enjoy it. The hostess was really friendly, and the people at both the bar and restaurant were great with children. Our rooms were very clean and had what we needed. Bring hand soap, though; toilet paper is provided. There were four of us, including children aged 6 and 6 months, and we put an extra bed at the foot of the bed. We felt right at home and would happily return!

App Blu got very hot at night, as there was no air conditioning or fan. The 3-km drive can also be a challenge if you're not used to steep roads or nervous about meeting oncoming traffic on a narrow stretch. On the plus side, the apartment was very good value, clean, well equipped, and had fast Wi-Fi and private parking. Agata, the friendly hostess, can be found at a nearby café with a lovely view of Cannobio. The pizzeria next door is good value too.

This made a nice first short stop in Italy for us. We stayed two nights in a very clean apartment. The restaurant next door was closed while we were there, though it looks lovely. The apartment is beside a good-looking church, but its bells ring every half hour from 6 a.m., sometimes for quite a while. Sound carries inside too, and we could hear the next-door guests talking.
