Just minutes from the sea, this was a lovely place to get away from the rush and relax. The house is in the quiet countryside around Brussa, right by the reserve, so it felt like a great mix of nature and downtime. Everything was cared for and spotless, and the hosts were kind and attentive to what we needed. They made both our 9-year-old granddaughter and our Labrador feel completely at home. We had a wonderful stay and hope to do it again soon.

The rooms are very spacious and the setting is quiet, which we liked. The bathroom was less convenient: it had a bathtub but no splash guard, so showering risks soaking the whole room. A shower or even a plexiglass screen would have been better. The booking description mentioned garden barbecues, but we couldn’t find any. One evening we asked if we could use a table in the common area for an aperitif and a sandwich, since we didn’t feel like going out. We were told we’d have to drive somewhere else for dinner. That was disappointing, as eating on the bed in our room wasn’t something we wanted to do.

Nine days went by far too quickly. We had a lovely, peaceful stay, just 4 km from the free "Brussa" beach. If you’re looking to unwind for a few days, Mr. Albano and Consuelo are wonderful hosts.
