There’s lots to enjoy at this spacious campsite, from the shady pitches to the pool, playground, workout area, and other activities. The animation is the usual kind, loud and repetitive, like at many campsites. The shop is well stocked with groceries, basic cosmetics, and household supplies. The restaurant gets very busy, so it’s not ideal for a romantic dinner, but the food is tasty, the service is quick, and takeaway is handy. The pitches are sandy, so bring a mat for sitting outside. The sanitary facilities were the weak point for us. The toilet cubicles are cramped, especially if you’re managing with a young child. There are no paper towels, no shower shelves to keep your things dry, and no handheld showerheads. Other than a baby bathroom, we couldn’t find showers suited to children or families. Cleaning wasn’t great either. The team seemed to clean only early in the morning, around 7-8 a.m., and later the toilets and showers clearly hadn’t been kept up.

The restaurant staff were lovely, welcoming, and friendly, and the food was great. The campsite itself is very well organized. Our only problem was the mosquitoes. There were so many that we couldn’t sit outside the camper without repellent, and even with it we still got bitten.

There’s a bus stop right outside the camp, and the city is nearby. The beach is only about a hundred meters away. We arrived in high season without a reservation, but they still had plenty of room for tents. The site also has a well-stocked shop, a nice restaurant with great pizza, a pool, and a playground.

The staff were generally friendly and ready to help whenever we needed something. The campsite has a nice pool and the basic facilities guests need, and it’s in a quiet part of Caorle, not too far from the rather pretty city center. The disappointing part was the condition of the two bungalows we stayed in. At full-season prices, I expected accommodation that hadn’t been left so long without renewal.

We spent two nights here and paid a good price. The restrooms were clean, and our tent spot was tucked into a quiet corner. We’d come back.
