Hotel Portofino

The staff are really nice, and the bathroom is reasonably good. The room has A.C, but the bed and furniture aren't very good. Breakfast is okay, though there isn't much variety, and the Wi-Fi is bad. There’s no pool, and guests don’t have bikes to get around town.

We ordered pasta with salmon, but it was very dry. We politely asked for another portion, which was just as bad, and we couldn't eat more than a bite of either one. The servers were lovely, but told us the owner expected us to pay for both portions. We asked to speak with the owner and the cook, who are brothers. The owner came to our table and bluntly said that since it was his restaurant, we had to pay for both. While he was talking with his brother, the cook came over and started swearing in Italian without any regard for us or the other diners, then quickly left. There were two women and two men at our table, and we were stunned by how rude and impolite the owners were. We don't recommend this place. Everywhere else we visited in Caorle was friendly and polite.

The lasagne was great, and the Aperol Spritz was the best we've had in Caorle.

We ate at the restaurant. The food was good, and the staff were nice to us.
