B&B Antica Forneria

The owners were kind, but that couldn’t make up for the poor upkeep and facilities. The building was filthy. Our room seemed to have been made from a warehouse: it was extremely hot, with no air conditioning, just a dusty, dirty fan. There was dust and cobwebs everywhere, and the floor still had squashed insects from previous guests. Breakfast was sparse, just a stale croissant, a little dish of jam with no flavor listed, and a drink you had to order from the owner. The attached farm is lovely, but the animals made it hard to rest. Roosters were crowing at 4 a.m., and there was a strong smell of sheep and animal waste everywhere. The property is a 10-minute drive from the sea, not somewhere you can walk to it from.

We came all the way from Palermo with friends for Blanco’s concert, and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. The welcome was simply WONDERFUL. Everything here feels peaceful, surrounded by nature and animals. We’ll always remember their kindness, helpfulness, warmth, spontaneity and love. You’ll stay in our hearts forever. Thank you for everything, we love you ❤️

The owners were so kind and made us feel at home in a peaceful, family-friendly atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade apricot jam. The property is well laid out, with guest rooms, a lovely breakfast garden, a farm area with beautiful animals, a vegetable garden and parking. It’s a great fit if you want to be surrounded by greenery, away from the city bustle. We’ll be back!

The temples of Paestum are just a few minutes away on foot or by bike. The ground-floor rooms were spacious and clean, and the area was quiet. Breakfast was plentiful and excellent. Anna was kind and attentive the whole time, making us feel right at home. A great place to stay when visiting this beautiful city. We’ll definitely return!
