We only stayed briefly, but everything was great. Thanks so much for all your help while we were there. We'd gladly come back.

Top-notch.

The room was lovely, and the bathroom had a small window that ventilated it really well after a shower. The property has been renovated nicely and furnished with taste, and the location is excellent. We were in ROOM 1. The mattress and topper seemed high quality, but the middle of the bed was raised, so sleeping on it felt like lying on a slope. I suggest the owners try it themselves. Storage was limited to an open coat rack and a small chest of drawers, with no proper closet. There was also mold in the room. I understand it's a small old building, but people with asthma should know. Some cats climbed onto the table near the entrance. There were bowls of water and dry food, so I assume they belong to the owners, but having them on the table didn't feel hygienic. Breakfast cost extra. I thought breakfast was part of the basic B&B setup. We booked through a website where the property's rules weren't very clear, though I had assumed it would be included as it is elsewhere. The owners could offer a meal with high-quality products to guests who want one, and give other guests a ticket for coffee and a croissant at the nearby bar, which would fit the B&B expectation. One of our four days, there was no hot water. I would have apologized to the guests and perhaps offered a coffee, but that didn't happen. The room wasn't cleaned on the penultimate day, though the rules said it would be, and we'd left by 10 a.m. Nobody mentioned it. On our last day, the contact person wasn't there for us to say goodbye, and we had to find out where to leave the keys. It's a good property, and more attention to guests could make it an excellent choice. My wife and I have traveled widely and have often received thoughtful care; we believe that's what makes a difference in this business. This review ran long, but we're returning to Paestum in July and will look for somewhere else. Thanks anyway for your hospitality. Sincerely, Andrea

We walked to the Paestum archaeological park from this welcoming place. It's in a peaceful setting, and breakfast was excellent, with a range of local products. Simona was attentive and always available. We'd happily do it again.
