B&B Toringo

We had to leave early for the airport, and the owners got up to prepare breakfast for us. There was such a lovely spread that we wished we had more time to sit and enjoy it. We only spent one night at this charming B&B, though we would have gladly stayed longer. We’ll come back when we’re in Lucca again.

It’s quiet here, with views toward the hills, and there’s free parking for the city on this side of town. Lucca is about a 5-10 minute drive away. The rooms have been nicely renovated, breakfast is excellent, and it’s good value. There’s also a beautiful Maine Coon cat.

The hosts were so friendly and helpful, and the rooms are newly renovated and really top notch. They’re well beyond what I’d expect from a hotel at a similar price. We had an amazing stay, and it’s a great base for exploring Tuscany.

After cycling all day, I couldn’t have hoped for a better room. I’m riding solo around Italy and Europe for several weeks, and this became my favorite stay in Italy so far. The house is striking and spotless, and the bathroom is as large as the bedroom, with a proper full-size shower. Breakfast was the biggest surprise, generous, tasty, and filling. I came for one night and stayed two. Grazie!
