Corte Pasquini

The hosts, Giuseppe and Piera, made us feel so welcome. They work incredibly hard, are accommodating, and are some of the kindest people you could meet. We felt safe and looked after throughout our amazing trip to Italy. The house has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a big kitchen, so there was plenty of room. We loved unwinding in the saltwater pool with its Tuscan countryside views, surrounded by the hosts’ lovely flower and vegetable gardens. After sightseeing in nearby Lucca, Pisa, and Florence, a swim was the perfect end to the day. The Cantina restaurant is only steps away, and its regional dishes are great. Don’t miss the roasted Tuscan beans!

Coming back to this quiet place for a dip in the pool after a day out was lovely. There are nearby country villages to explore, and Lucca is an easy drive away, with Pisa and Florence a little farther on. The house is spacious and has all the comforts of home. The owner welcomed us with a freshly made lasagna waiting in the fridge, and it was delicious. There’s also a great restaurant just steps away and a huge grocery store a short drive away.

We loved the infinity pool and would happily come back. Piera was a wonderful hostess and made sure we had everything we needed. The place and its surroundings are beautiful, it’s close to the autostrada, and there’s a lovely restaurant nearby.

Piera’s lasagna is exquisite, so do give it a try! This spacious, beautiful holiday home is also well placed, about two minutes from Luques and 45 minutes from Pisa. The hosts live next door but are very discreet. The pool is a lovely way to relax before or after the beach. Just remember that parking at the beach isn’t free.
