Hotel Parco delle Agavi

The restaurant team were especially personable and went out of their way to welcome us and cater thoughtfully to our vegetarian diet. We also had an included face massage, a tranquil way to end the trip. The hotel was spotless and accommodated our needs well. Throughout our stay the atmosphere was calm and welcoming, everything felt easy, and the staff were attentive, kind, and always happy to help. Truly excellent service from start to finish.

We spent a week here and had an incredible holiday. The rooms, terrace, reception, and pool areas were spotlessly clean and pleasant to spend time in. Everyone was polite, welcoming, and helpful, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. Breakfast had plenty of choice. We ate out, so can’t comment on dinner, though other guests said it was great. We’ll definitely come back. A big grazie mille to all the staff and the manager, especially Theresa at reception, who’s a real credit to the hotel. Many thanks for a wonderful holiday ❤️ 🇮🇹❤️

The pools are large and well maintained, and you need a bathing cap. You can buy one at reception if needed. Our room was nice and clean, and the service was excellent. Breakfast leaned a little too heavily toward sweet options for my taste. There were no vegetables apart from tomatoes, and the vegetarian and vegan choices were the usual Italian basics, like cereals and fruit, without any specialities. They did provide a milk alternative.

The staff are what would bring me back. They were warm, polite, professional and incredibly helpful, even when our two young kids were fussy at meals. The grounds, facilities and views of the island cliffs make a great first impression, and the pool is lovely, with an indoor spa pool too. There’s a free shuttle to some of the main sights. Forio is about a seven-minute bus ride away and felt more charming to me than Ischia “central”; Poseidon is nearby as well. Breakfast and dinner were both good, and service was very attentive. The rooms are the one weak spot. They’re modern, but could use more care: there’s no bathroom storage, the toilet roll holder is oddly far forward, the shower doors look dated, and some bedside lamp sockets were bent or broken. The extractor fan also smelled bad when switched on. None of that ruined the stay, but a few fixes would help. I also wish smoking were limited around the dining areas. It was frustrating to be about to eat a croissant and have someone nearby light a cigarette. Swimming caps are required in the pool, as seems common around the island, and you can buy one at the hotel. Filtered water at dinner costs €3 a bottle. We had a superb time, and the staff in particular were 12/10.
