Katia was such a warm, helpful host. She arranged a taxi, helped me sort out the air conditioning when the issue was my own error, and lent me a steamer for the very wrinkled dress I'd packed for a wedding. My spacious room had useful basics like shampoo, soap, and a hair dryer. The B&B run by Rosa and Katia is lovely. The kitchen is fully equipped, including an espresso machine, and Katia brings in two delicious cakes in the morning. I was traveling solo this summer and would definitely recommend Corte Capitani. I'd love to come back with friends. Getting into Lucca city center was easy on the 6 bus line, even without a car. The stop is a 10-12 minute walk from Corte Capitani, and the drivers were kind and helpful, including Roger, who pointed me the right way when I once boarded the wrong bus. If you have a car, parking is easy and plentiful.

We had a warm, fantastic welcome and a lovely air-conditioned room. The host was very helpful, sharing dinner suggestions and making a reservation for us since we don't speak Italian. We had a great time visiting Lucca, the beach, and the hills.

On my Via Francigena hike, I stopped here to rest and felt at home right away. The comfortable room, great WiFi, and well-equipped kitchen were all welcome. The hostess is one of the kindest people I've met in my four-month journey. Go here!

We enjoyed the south-facing terrace and its sunshine. This B&B is run by a very nice Italian lady and has several rooms, each with its own bathroom, plus a shared kitchen and living room with TV. Breakfast is included and self-serve, and there's WiFi. I'd book again if I return to the area.
