After two months traveling around Italy and staying in all sorts of hotels, B&Bs, and hostels, this was easily my loveliest experience. The view and location are great, the room was nice, and Marco was a wonderful host. Ask if he has time to make a private dinner. He’s a really good cook, and you won’t regret it.

Marco welcomed us with so much care that we felt at home, not like guests. The house has a magnificent lake view and is just a few kilometers from Capodimonte. Though the access road is unpaved and muddy, any car can get through easily. We took Marco’s advice on hikes, dinners, and places to visit, and loved the breakfasts with local products. We’re already wondering when we can come back.
