Villa Mara

We stayed in this wonderful villa at the end of May, and I’d absolutely come back. It’s on a quiet side street in the Capoliveri area, with breathtaking views of Porto Azzurro and the surrounding mountains. The whole exterior was as spotlessly clean as the apartment, and the owners who welcomed us were extremely kind. The agency we used was helpful too. There are three bedrooms: one upstairs with its own bathroom, and two downstairs sharing a huge bathroom with a tub, shower, and washing machine. The large kitchen is fully equipped, and there’s a dining table with a view, a sofa bed, a smart TV, and a small guest bathroom. Outside, there’s a huge, impeccably maintained garden, a barbecue area with a sunken table, and other quiet spots overlooking the sea. I’d highly recommend it for a stay in the area if you want privacy and a super-quiet setting.
